School Representative Volunteer Opportunity
School Representatives play an important role in helping ensure students receive the essential resources they need throughout the school year. The Little Bit Foundation serves more than 60 partner schools throughout the St. Louis area, and School Representatives help us deliver direct support to students on a consistent basis.
As a School Representative, you will work closely with students, school staff, and the Little Bit Foundation Program Coordinator assigned to your school. Volunteers help distribute student orders, build positive relationships within the school community, and serve as an extension of The Little Bit Foundation's mission.
Depending on the school, volunteers may pick up student orders from The Little Bit Foundation warehouse before traveling to their assigned school. Once at the school, you will meet with your fellow volunteer or Program Coordinator and assist with distributing orders to students. The school's liaison will typically bring students down in small groups of 2–3 at a time, allowing volunteers to provide students with their requested items and help identify additional needs for future orders.
School Representatives are assigned a consistent school, day, and time throughout the school year. For example, if you are assigned to Bryan Hill Elementary on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m., you can expect to meet at that same school, on the same day, at the same time each week for the duration of the school year. Roughly 2hrs a week.
School Representative opportunities are available Monday through Thursday during school hours at our 60+ partner schools.
Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must complete a free background check before volunteering in schools.

Must attend School Representative training prior to being assigned to a school.

Training is expected to take place in August (date to be determined).

Must be reliable and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule during the school year.

Must be comfortable interacting with students, school staff, and Little Bit Foundation team members.
