Cook with Chef
Food Outreach is the only St. Louis area organization whose mission is to provide nutritional support and enhance the quality of life of men, women, and children living with HIV or cancer.
Food Outreach needs volunteers to assist our chef in the kitchen. You will help prepare entrees and sides that will be packed and frozen for our clients. Tasks include basic kitchen duties (chopping, mixing, cleaning, etc.). No cooking experience is required. Some slight lifting/standing for long periods may be required but please talk to the Volunteer Manager if you have any concerns with this. *If you are vegetarian or vegan, please be aware you will be working with chicken, meat, and seafood at times.
These shifts are:

10 am-2 pm on Wednesdays

9 am-1 pm on Fridays
