Frisco Caboose Restoration
This restoration project has stalled due to lack of work force. We need to assemble a work crew that can assist with installing a new floor and completing the interior of the caboose. The roof of the caboose has been waterproofed but paint didn't adhere properly to the chosen waterproofing product.
The caboose is a popular attraction and needs to be made safe for visitors to enter.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Enthusiasm, friendliness, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to take initiative and voice ideas
- Good communications skills
- Desire to see project through to completion
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to forty (40) pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, comfortable working at heights
- Ability to use power tools
- Potential risks may include: slipping or tripping hazards, sharp or slippery surfaces, dark or very bright conditions, working in close quarters with staff with limited social distancing opportunities and possible exposure to surface and airborne related viruses.
