Hospice Volunteer Visitor
Hospice Volunteer Visitor takes time to visit with Hospice patients in their homes or their community in the Metro East IL and Metro St. Louis area. Volunteers spend time with hospice patients in conversation, playing card games, reading, listening to music and/or just being present for individual.

Use your creative strengths and interests as you aid in the living of someone who faces the final year of a terminal illness, and in being part of a community that cares for their family.
Hospice volunteers are needed for patient care in the Metro East area. Hospice volunteers offer patients and families a listening ear, a hand to hold, and the presence of a caring heart.
All potential hospice volunteers are screened to make sure this kind of service seems to be a good fit for the volunteer and for the hospice organization. Hospice volunteers receive training to ensure they feel comfortable with their tasks.
