Opportunity Details

Read With Preschoolers!

Volunteers are assigned to a pre-k classroom that they visit once a week for just 30-minutes. You’ll visit the same classroom every week as relationship building is a key part of our experience. During the 30-minutes you will read aloud to the entire class as a group. We provide training for all volunteers which provides a deep dive on how to lead a storytime and engage pre-k age students. The teacher will be present the entire time so you’ll never be without support.

YOU can contribute to reducing the education gap in St. Louis by becoming one of our trained Volunteer Readers!

**Please note that our office is located in Olivette, but the centers we serve are located throughout the St. Louis metro area**
