Dads, Dogs, & Donuts at the Butterfly House
On June 14th, 2025, help us celebrate dads, grandpas, and uncles! Guests will enjoy delicious donuts, fun activities, and meet Martha the Talking Dog! At story time attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with Martha.
Volunteers will assist with event setup and tear-down, as well as one of the following duties during the course of the event:

Mascot - Martha the Talking Dog (Requirements for costume - 5ft 5in -5ft 9in, 120-180lbs. Must be able to handle heat and wear enclosed mascot costume.)

Activity Assistant - Assist children and families with various crafts/activities during the event.

Zero Waste Ambassador - Help the Butterfly House be more green by assisting program participants sort their waste into recycling, compost, and if need be, landfill.

Food & Drink Assistant - Assist families with donut decorating, parfait bar, and drinks.
After expressing interest, you will be emailed a link to complete our volunteer application. Once your application has been approved, you can see and sign up for shifts.
Shifts are 9:00am - 12:00pm (8 total volunteers needed).
