Unite With Us Day is a special opportunity to bring the United Way of Greater St. Louis mission to life by volunteering side by side at United Way-supported agencies across Missouri and Illinois.
One of this year’s featured volunteer sites is Pony Bird, an organization that exists to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities. Their mission is achieved through four core program areas:

Volunteer Opportunity: Fleet Vehicle Cleaning
Volunteers will assist with cleaning Pony Bird’s fleet vehicles, which are used to transport individuals with disabilities. This project plays a critical role in ensuring health, safety, and dignity for those served.
Why It Matters:

Health & Safety - Regular cleaning reduces germs and allergens, ensures mobility aids can be used safely, and confirms emergency equipment is in place.

Comfort & Dignity – A clean environment enhances the travel experience and supports mental well-being.

Operational Efficiency – Clean vehicles help identify maintenance issues early and support reliable service.

Volunteers age 10 and up are welcome (minors must be accompanied by a chaperone)
