Opportunity Details

Soldiers Memorial Military Museum Court of Honor Cleanup Brigade

Since 1938, the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum has honored the sacrifices of St. Louisans who died in service to our country. A tree-lined oasis dedicated in 1948, the Court of Honor is a peaceful place to visit, but because of its location near Market Street in downtown St. Louis, it needs frequent cleanup.

The Cleanup Brigade will have regularly scheduled monthly sessions to remove any accumulated trash. These will take place on the first Wednesday and first Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

Soldiers Memorial will supply gloves, trash bags, and trash grabbers. As a token of our appreciation, volunteer groups will receive water, coffee, and donuts. Groups must confirm a date with Andrew Schleicher, Visitor Experience Coordinator, at aschleicher@mohistory.org to receive these perks.

Additionally, each group must have a contact person who will provide the names of the volunteers for each session.
