Opportunity Details
School Representative
We are excited to announce a new opportunity within our volunteer program: School Representatives. This role is crucial in enhancing our connection with over 50 schools and ensuring that students receive the resources they need.
Role Overview: As a School Representative, you will select a school to support and be responsible for bringing orders to that school. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities:
-
Order Delivery: You will deliver items to your designated school for students to try out and bring additional orders the following week.
-
Boutique Schedule: Each school has a different boutique time, typically lasting 2 hours. These times could be 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM, or 1:30 PM. For example, if you are assigned to Officer Elementary, which has a boutique time of 1 PM on Mondays, you would need to bring the items by 1 PM, every Monday during the school year.
-
Student Coordination: The school liaison will manage the students, bringing them in groups of three to pick up their new items during the boutique.
-
Collaboration: Each school boutique will have a Little BIt Program Coordinator to assist with any questions or concerns. You will work closely with them to ensure that students get what they need for the week.
Commitment: We ask for a minimum time commitment of 2 hrs a week, with flexibility based on your availability and the needs of the school.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of students, ensuring they have access to the resources they need.
If you're interested in becoming a School Representative or have any questions, please let us know. We are excited about the impact this role will have on our students and look forward to your involvement!
