Nine PBS Volunteer
As an essential community institution, Nine PBS magnifies and deepens understanding of our community to help our region flourish. Our programming and services enable access to information, knowledge, and learning opportunities for all. We meet people where they are most comfortable consuming content. Nine PBS' platforms include four distinct broadcast channels, ninepbs.org, social media, the free PBS App, streaming services, live and virtual events, and the Public Media Commons.
Nine PBS seeks volunteers who would enjoy the following activities:
- Wayfinding for and registering event guests in our building and offsite as needed
- Character performance at family-friendly events
- Tour guide for the station
- Preparing materials for Early Education, Community Impact, and Major Gifts
- Inventory and packaging of membership premiums and thank-you gifts
- Assistance with Pledge Drive readiness
- Conducting donor thank-you calls
- Data entry
Requirements:
- Application
- Reliable, punctual, and friendly
- Background Check
Time Commitment:
- Our volunteer projects are on an as-needed basis, with a majority of our community events in March-September
- Shifts can range from 1-5 hours
- You can choose to be a volunteer with us for 1 semester, 1 year, or longer! We are open to however you would like to help
