Junior Board

The Welcome Home Association is actively looking for dedicated and determined young individuals (ages 18-35) with an interest in the non profit sector to sit on the Junior Board

The Junior Board is a non governing body that supplements the organizations Board of Directors. 

Junior Board Members can be an asset to a nonprofit organization by:

  • Helping fundraise 

  • Event planning 

  • Raising awareness

  • Advocate and voice 

  • Expanding our network

  • Innovating 

  • Building future leaders 

Learn about usThe Welcome Home Association is a very new startup non profit organization that is primarily support based and specifically focuses on foster care and adoption. TWHA aims to break walls, aid children and families and heal system damages. 
The Welcome Home Association will maintain its financial standing through donations, grants and funding. It is crucial that our staff and volunteers believe in what The Welcome Home Association is aiming to achieve with its work. The day to day staff will receive adequate training that is required and needed to make the organization successful. All the while continuously asking the question “How can I help?” and to make The Welcome Home Association feel like a home within their own hearts.

Mission Statement: Helping to provide and extend an “at home” feeling within our walls for adopted and foster children as well as their parents, foster parents and families through our professional internal and external resources in St. Louis and surrounding areas.
