Tabling with FOTR at the Butterfly House Pollinator Fair
Celebrate Earth Day with Friends of the Rainforest! We will be tabling (likely outdoors) at the Butterfly House in Chesterfield for their Pollinator Fair the weekend of April 23-24. We will bring pieces from the "Butterfly Bonanza!" lesson and talk about different rainforest butterflies and their host plants, and how they identify them. The event runs from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
Volunteers will receive more information via email as well as a brief training on the demonstration prior to the event. Volunteers will be tabling alongside FOTR staff and/or Board members. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Friends of the Rainforest and engage kids and families in learning together!
Accessibility Note: Event parking may mean a longer walk from your parking space to the Butterfly House. You may be asked to carry or move large items. Please let us know if this is something you are unable to do and we will work to accommodate you. We are here to serve our community and will be prioritizing COVID safety. Staff, Board, and volunteers representing Friends of the Rainforest will be asked to remain masked for the duration of the shift, indoors or outdoors.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
