Urban Farming with International Institute
Join GenNext for a morning of gardening and greenhouse building at one of the International Institute's Global Farm sites! International Institute has provided essential community integration services to immigrants in St. Louis for almost 100 years, without regard to country of origin, race, or religion. Their Global Farms program aims to provide farmers with access to healthy nutritional options for their families, and to provide farmers with increased economic opportunity. After a morning of work alongside the Global Farms staff and farmers, we'll grab lunch together to debrief and get to know one another.
