CABBIE Driver (Starting Fall 2024)
We believe every Saint Louis community member deserves access to the arts, and you are helping to achieve this dream. Being a CABBIE you are more than just a taxi driver. This is an opportunity to connect our next generation of Saint Louis artists! CABBIEs provide a direct ride home from after-school arts education directly home. During this ride, there is an opportunity to create a positive connection with Saint Louis youth as they grow in their artistic journey. By opening up a seat in your vehicle once a week, you are supporting a child's art education for a lifetime.
CABBIE Requirements:

25 or older

A safe, clean, and reliable car with available seats

Provide proof of car insurance

Provide a copy of a valid driver's license

Have a clear State Criminal Background Check and Driving Record through AAIM Check. CommUNITY Arts (CA) will complete and purchase for the order for background check once above documents are provided

Complete Mandated Reporter free online course
CABBIE Responsibilities:

Transporting CAB KID(s) home from after-school Arts Program (approx 1 hour a week)

Communicating check-ins with parents to ensure transportation

Connect and get to know your CAB KID(s) artistic journey

Encouraged to attend CAB kids performances and presentations
