Board Members
The Board of Directors is responsible for determining the function(s) of Riverbend Family Ministries (RFM), for establishing policies necessary to carry out that function and for securing the necessary financial support for RFM.
Qualifications,
Characteristics and Criteria
*Demonstrates willingness and ability to contribute time and talents.
*Understands and is in agreement with the mission of RFM.
*Is a questioner, a learner and a person of vision.
*The members of the Board, as a whole, should be a cross-section of the community, including the geographical area, age, race, gender, and economic circumstances of those served by RFM.
*Attends at least 8 of 12 meetings of the Board of Directors and other board functions, or shows other demonstrated support.

*If policy dictates, is financially supportive in accordance with the member’s ability to give.

Term of Membership
*The term of each member is three years, as long as they meet the expectations written in this agreement and can only serve two consecutive terms.
*No officer serves more than two consecutive years in the same position
*Annual planning meeting is held in March of each year for the purpose of electing officers, directors, and for planning out goals and objectives for Meetings
upcoming year.
*The Board of Directors hold regular meetings at 6:30 pm on the 1st Tuesday of each month at the RFM building.
