Aging Ahead CHOICE Program Volunteer - Edward Jones YMCA
Aging Ahead's CHOICE program is a unique model of creating senior center communities within the places where older adults already congregate. This volunteer opportunity is based at the Edward Jones YMCA in Maryland Heights.
A CHOICE Volunteer assists Aging Ahead staff with program operations, greets participants and creates a welcoming atmosphere, socializes and engages in activities with participants (you're welcome to bring activities, games, or crafts to share), assists with lunch distribution (bonus - if you are 60 or over, you qualify for lunch yourself!) and helps with clean up after the program is over. It's a casual and fun volunteer position. We are looking for volunteers for Mondays and Wednesdays from around 10 am to 1 pm.
