Aging with Empowerment (AWE) Volunteer
The mission of the St. Louis Arc is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to lead better lives by providing a lifetime of high-quality services, family support, and advocacy.
Help others age gracefully by staying active! Aging with Empowerment (AWE) offers a variety of classes that engage participants both mentally and physically. Classes include cooking, exercise, sports, arts & crafts, community activities, and more. Volunteers are needed to provide assistance to participants and program during these classes. A consistant schedule is preferred when attending.
New volunteers must complete paperwork and volunteer orientation prior to starting.
Monday through Friday
Weekdays from 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
