Sedalia-Pettis County United Way Looking for 2018 Day of Caring Volunteers
4th Annual SPCUW Day of Caring
The Sedalia-Pettis County United Way will hold our 4th Annual Day of Caring on September 29, 2018. The focus is to help veterans, disabled and the elderly with one-day projects that they may not be able to do financially or physically, such as painting, minor repairs, extensive yard work, etc.
We are looking forward to what we will accomplish in 2018! Team applications are due on July 31, 2018. This gives us time to assess projects (needed tools, materials, and skill) and ensure that we have enough teams for the projects submitted. The 2018 Day of Caring Kickoff will be located at State Fair Community College. Detailed information will be shared with team leaders prior to the team leader meeting, scheduled for Thursday, August 30th.
The team application can be found on our website www.spcuw.org within the tab "Give Back". If you do not have a team, we can help you connect with a team. It is our hope to have just as many teams as we did in 2017. We hope your team will contribute to this number. Typically a team is anywhere from 6-20 people.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
