Volunteer Food Pantry Delivery Intake Line Manager (Local)
Bring your attention to detail, management skills, and a desire to help our neighbors in the St. Louis area receive nutritious meals through the collection and distribution of weekly food donations from our community partners to families in need.
The Fit and Food Connection is a non-profit organization serving our neighbors in the St. Louis community. We provide wellness offerings to low-income families and empower our clients to get healthy through our five free fitness and nutrition programs.
We are currently seeking a local volunteer food pantry delivery intake line manager to work directly with our partners, clients, and delivery drivers to manage all aspects of food collection and distribution including:
- Promptly responding to calls from new families seeking food assistance
- Collecting and maintaining documentation and all information necessary to determine client eligibility
- Coordinating with delivery drivers, administrative team, and pantry team to ensure weekly food delivery to eligible clients is handled efficiently and effectively
- Setting up delivery routes and communicating information to our volunteer delivery drivers
- This person will be able to work from home
This is an opportunity for volunteers to directly connect and communicate with fellow members of the community! We would prefer someone who can take this task on for a long-term commitment, a minimum of 1 year and can work a minimum of 1 time per week for 3 – 4 hours.
