Canvassing Tornado Impacted Area
The St. Louis Integrated Health Network Tornado Recovery team will do door-to-door outreach throughout November, and we are looking for volunteers to help us expand our capacity. We will be canvassing most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays in November.
We have a list of over 1,500 addresses that were occupied during the May 2025 tornado and were damaged in the storm. We are going to be visiting each address to briefly assess if anyone is living there, drop off winter safety information, and collect residents' information if they are in need of services. This is important because many residents will be living in damaged homes/apartments over the winter when temperatures will be dangerous.
