Kindness Cards

Help spread encouragement by creating kindness cards for Food Outreach's clients, who are navigating treatment for HIV and cancer. During the pandemic, we began providing homemade kindness cards to support our clients while they were isolated at home. These cards have become a staple at our agency and many clients look forward to receiving them biweekly as they progress through their difficult treatment journey. Cards can have simple messages of inspiration such as "You can do it!" "Keep going!" "Believe in yourself!" or inspirational quotes. We receive cards designed by every age and talent level from elementary students to scrapbookers to professional artists! We ask that you do not include any personal information on the cards or specific diagnoses such as "Wishing you the best during your cancer treatment! - John Smith."

Kindness cards can be dropped off at Food Outreach during normal business hours or mailed to our agency (3117 Olive Street, St. Louis, MO 63103).
