Play with children impacted by foster care
The Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition needs Foster Friends volunteers! This is your chance to directly impact the lives of children in foster care while having fun at exciting venues like Incredible Pizza and MADE by Magic House. Foster Friends help supervise 2-3 children during our Parents’ Day Out events, which happen four times a year and last about 3 ½ to 5 hours. These events provide a safe, engaging environment for the kids while their caregivers enjoy a much-needed break. Our staff is always on hand to provide guidance and support.
In addition to these events, Foster Friends are invited to participate in other Coalition activities throughout the year and enjoy unique opportunities to support foster children. Join us and make a difference in your community!
Foster Friends must be at least 18 years old and have graduated from high school. A clean criminal background history is required and you must participate in a 1 1/2 hour training session.
