Volunteer for Disaster Recovery

Find a volunteer opportunity

Volunteering might be the best decision you'll make today. It's FREE and we promise to make it as easy as possible.

Update May 2019:  The EF-3 Tornado that impacted Cole and Miller County has created a historic impact on our people, businesses, and landscape. The unselfish dedication, tremendous commitment, and generosity from volunteers, have all contributed to the miracle of the human spirit in this time of need. Due to the remarkable clean-up efforts of volunteers, we are transitioning from the immediate needs of response to addressing the extensive challenges of recovery. The Volunteer Reception Center located at the Capital Mall - 3600 Country Club Drive, Jefferson City, MO will close as further more technical needs are identified and assessed. Volunteer opportunities to assist faith-based and community organizations with recovery projects and services will be posted on the United Way of Central Missouri's website as they are available. Thank you for assisting in this amazing community effort and your continued support of survivors affected.
