St. Clair Associated Vocational Enterprises, Inc.

In 1972 a small group of parents came together to provide for a better life for their children with intellectual disabilities and other developmental challenges, including autism, Downs Syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and visual and hearing challenges. From their commitment and dedication, St. Clair Associated Vocational Enterprises, Inc. or SAVE was born. Over the years the face of SAVE has changed. New programs have been added, as well as new people and new ideas. But the organization’s mission has remained constant: to help adults with developmental challenges achieve their fullest potential and live productive and happy lives with dignity and respect.
