Opportunity Details

Coordinator for Story Project with Faces Not Forgotten

As part of our Art Heals Violence Initiative, the St. Louis Arts Chamber of Commerce is working with other programs to facilitate their expression of the gun violence epidemic. We are working with Faces Not Forgotten to develop an exhibit of all of the quilts they have created honoring those children who have died from gun violence. Faces Not Forgotten (FNF) is working with StoryCorp in Chicago to record stories about impact to families of gun violence victims. StoryCorp Chicago will assist with a virtual training and then editing. All stories are recorded between two family members or friends of the victim. FNF hopes to later have access to these stories for our website and QR codes on individual FNF Quilt panels.

Preference for someone with experience with recordings. This person would need to contact all those interested to set up dates for recording. This person needs to be comfortable contacting survivor families.
