Make treats for service dogs
Join fellow United Young Leaders to make DIY no-bake treats for service dogs in training. Your own furry friends are encouraged to join this volunteer event as well!
About Duo Dogs: Duo Dogs trains and connects dogs with people to cultivate positive change in individuals, families, and communities. Accredited by Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Duo Dogs opens the door to independence by providing Assistance Dogs to individuals with physical challenges, Facility Dogs to those in need of emotional assurance, and Touch Dogs to hospitals that bring a sense of serenity and well-being to patients, along with reading assistance to students in school classrooms and libraries.
Project Description: Volunteers will gather via Microsoft Teams to make no-bake dog treats to donate to Duo Dogs pups. We will spend time learning about the organization, getting to know each other, and making these easy treats.

1/3 cup coconut oil

Parchment paper

Gallon-sized freezer bag
Delivery: Following the event, treats can be dropped off at Duo Dogs. Drop off info to come.
