Volunteers for Mobile Food Market & Back to School Supply Distribution
Northside Youth And Senior Service Center is in need of volunteers to help distribute food for The Ville Collaborative School Supply And Grocery Giveaway Event. We have partnered with the St. Louis Area Foodbank to bring a Mobile Food Market Drive to families and children in the Ville Community on Friday, August 14th from 7am – 1pm. Volunteers are needed to bag and distribute groceries, setup tables, chairs, distribute food, school supplies pass out mask, and PPE items to neighborhood residents. Please make note volunteers may be asked to assist in any area as needed such as Traffic Control, Handwashing Stations.
Volunteers will distribute items to residents pulling up in cars and by walk ups.
Location of the event will actually be at the corner lot of Sarah and Kennerly in the Ville Neighborhood area in St. Louis City.
This is your opportunity to help us expand our community footprint and make a meaningful impact on the issues that are important to the community we serve. Volunteers will be provided with PPE and other safety supplies and follow CDC guidelines to ensure that we can provide a safe no-touch food and goods distribution.
COVID-19 SAFETY PRACTICES WILL BE IN PLACE - Social Distancing and Mobile Handwasing Stations Available and All Volunteers Will Receive Mask
