Temporary COVID-19 Response Warehouse Assistants at old Sears-Chesterfield Mall
In response to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, The Salvation Army will respond to the call to feed and offer supplies to those in need. Through the generous donations of the property owners of the old Sears location in Chesterfield mall, we have obtained a donation collection and distribution center. We need the help of volunteers to staff this location.
Job duties include
Donation Collectors: 5
Sorters: 5
Forklift drivers- licensed or willing to be trained: 2
Pallet lift drivers- licensed or willing to be trained: 1
Administrative: 2
Location:1 Chesterfield Mall, Chesterfield, MO 63017
Duration: March 30, 2020- until further notice
Hours: Donation Collection and Sorting: Monday- Wednesday 7am- 7pm
Sorting: Thursday 8am- 4pm
Donation distribution: Friday: 8am –4pm, Saturday 8am- 1pm
Age restriction: minimum 21 for forklift or pallet lift driver
Will volunteer encounter community on regular basis? The volunteers will have volunteer interaction depending on job requirements.
