Honeysuckle Hack on the Meramec Greenway (Al Foster Trail)
We need your help to restore the native habitat on the Al Foster Memorial Trail! On October 12th, volunteers will remove invasive bush honeysuckle in this conservation area along the Meramec Greenway in Wildwood, MO. Your assistance will help improve water quality, enhance wildlife habitat, and create a healthier environment for all.
Volunteers will meet at the Al Foster Trailhead. The trail is located near the intersection of Grand Ave. and Washington Ave. in the Glencoe Community. Parking is available at the trailhead.
We will provide necessary tools, gloves, snacks, and water for this event. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Youth ages 15 and up are welcome to join with the accompaniment of a parent or guardian. Please bring a reusable water bottle.
In case of severe inclement weather, this event will be moved to November 2nd, 2019.
