Board Opportunity - Nonprofit Expanding Diversity in Media Production
We are looking for a person with a background in business development who has a passion for the media arts to join our board to help us in our mission to expand diversity in media production through skill-based training, mentoring, & opportunities for untapped talent. As a small organization, we are looking to grow our board by three members by the end of the year. Each of our board members is expected to actively give of their time in various ways, including but not limited to: attending 75% of all board meetings per year, arriving on time, attending committee meetings, and assisting in programs. Board members are expected to volunteer a minimum of 3 hours per month (or 36 hours per year.)
Your work will help us to build strategic partnerships with for-profit organizations, which we hope will create new opportunities for our program participants where they will use the skills gained to expand diversity in the media production industry in our community and beyond.
