Opportunity Details

United Cerebral Palsy Heartland Family Outreach

This summer, UCP Heartland opened a new 24-hour disability program called Oak Tree Respite in Webster Groves, Missouri. The program is based in a beautiful 4,000 square foot, fully accessible residential home and can serve up to 8 guests per night. The goal of the program is to give family and caregivers a "respite," or break, on an emergency or planned basis. Adults living with disabilities have a beautiful home-away-from-home to stay in that includes adaptive equipment and 24-hour care.

We are seeking a responsible volunteer to work with our program director. This volunteer will work an average of four hours per week to contact UCP Heartland client families by mail about the new Oak Tree respite program. Each family has a specific amount of funded time they can use, and this is a reminder about the new program and the hours they have available.

The opportunity date and time you are looking for is no longer available.
