Homemaker Health Care
Homemaker Health Care is looking for volunteers to help set up and help with a variety of tasks at our annual fundraiser the Capital City Festival of Lights. This is a drive-thru light park that stretches over a mile of wooded area at Binder Park in Jefferson City. Volunteers are needed for setting up and helping put up light displays in the park. Volunteers are also needed during the event to help run the front of the park taking donations, directing traffic, ext. We also need volunteers to help at the back to hand out treats to kids and help with cleanup, including putting away generators, ext.
Homemaker Health Care provides medical equipment such as shower chairs, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and hospital beds to low-income seniors citizens and individuals with disabilities temporarily free of charge.
