Parent Cafes
The mission of the St. Louis Arc is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to lead better lives by providing a lifetime of high-quality services, family supports, and advocacy.
The Arc is looking for volunteers to supervise and socialize with people of all ages who have disabilities during its Parent Cafe program! Volunteers will engage with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities of all ages, ranging from small children to adults. Volunteers will engage with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities of all ages, ranging from small children to adults. Volunteers will facilitate activities chosen by the people they are supporting and based on what is avalable in the bilding at that time: games, movies, ect.
New Volunteers must complete paperwork and new volunteer orientation prior to starting.
