Blood Donor Screeners and Blood Transportion Drivers!
Donor Screener - Assisting at local blood drives to welcome donors to our blood drives. You will take their temperature with an infrared thermometer before they enter the blood drive and will be given a mask and gloves if you would like to use them. Good customer service skills are useful, friendly personality and an ability to make people feel welcome and comfortable is important. This is a great way to interact with incredible, giving people who choose to donate blood and save up to THREE lives with their one donation. Screeners are especially needed at Jefferson City donor centers and in and around St. Joseph, MO for various community drives.
Blood Transportation Drivers- Using a Red Cross vehicle, you will deliver and pick up blood and blood products from in and around the Columbia, MO area. We ask that you drive at least one shift a month and most shifts last between 2-4 hours depending on where the blood needs to go. 4-hour shifts available- 7 days a week
Please note: The volunteer must be 18 yrs and older.
