Advanced WordPress Website Volunteer
The Fit and Food Connection is looking for a volunteer with extensive WordPress website experience. Our current WordPress site is using a Theme specifically designed for Charity organizations. We need volunteer help managing the existing content and to also build new features. Our website is our strongest marketing presence. We are looking for a longer-term volunteer who can potentially lead a small team of volunteers.
Experience:

Fundamental understanding of how a WordPress website is installed and managed

Basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress functions

Basic knowledge of MySQL

Basic knowledge of how to work in a local environment using a LAMP/WAMP stack (XAMPP, MAMP, etc.)

Preferred but not required: Experience using GIT repositories, as our code is controlled on BitBucket
The Fit and Food Connection is a non-profit organization serving our neighbors in the St. Louis community. We provide wellness offerings to low-income families and empower our clients to get healthy through our five free fitness and nutrition programs. The connection of food provision, lifestyle programming and coaching, and education is a dynamic solution to address general poverty's impact on health.
