One For One Holiday Food Drive
One for One Holiday Food Drive, December 12, 2018, is a 12-hour food drive at Westlake Ace Hardware- Jefferson City and Orscheln Farm & Home.
Every December, The Food Bank partners with Zimmer Radio, Columbia Professional Firefighters, Jefferson City Fire Department, and the Networks of Mid-Missouri to collect food and funds. Volunteers will be located in the parking lots (closest to Missouri Blvd.) of Westlake Ace Hardware and Orscheln Farm & Home. People are able to provide donations in a drive-thru set-up and drop off non-perishable items such as boxed meals, peanut butter, canned vegetables and fruits, rice, beans, and pasta. This event will go on rain or shine. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
