Veterans Day Celebration
Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is celebrating Veterans Day in participating nursing facilities! Total volunteer time may take approximately two hours (1 hour for the program, and ½ hour to set up/clean up). The ceremony may last up to 1 hour. Some examples of volunteer duties may include: passing out refreshments, presenting Veterans with certificates, engaging residents, set up/break down, and more.
The Veteran Day celebration begins at 10:15am. We ask that volunteers arrive between 9:45-10am to help with set up and stay afterward to help clean (it doesn't take long to complete-- about 15-20 minutes). Since this is a nursing facility, volunteers must sign a confidentiality agreement.
