Walking Club

The mission of the St. Louis Arc is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to lead better lives by providing a lifetime of high-quality services, family support, and advocacy.

Get moving with the St. Louis Arc's Walking Club! Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist individuals and/or groups of walkers to develop instructional and leisure skills in the community while building self-confidence. Volunteers are needed to lead pre and post walking stretches and to explore various St. Louis area parks with participants. Last year, the St. Louis Arc Walking Club took over 600,000 steps! That's about 300 miles! Can you help them beat that mileage?  New volunteers are expected to commit to the whole session of this program.

Thursdays,
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
