Play Fore! Megan Charity Golf Tournament - Monday, September 14, 2020

The Megan Meier Foundation's Annual Play Fore! Megan Golf Tournament is coming up and we need your help!

This event allows our organization to share Megan's legacy and continue helping other children and families negatively affected by issues of bullying, cyberbullying, and suicide.

Megan Meier Foundation:

In December of 2007, Tina Meier founded the Megan Meier Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, in memory of her 13-year old daughter, Megan Taylor Meier, who took her own life after being cyberbullied by an adult neighbor pretending to be a boy on MySpace.  Tina is dedicated to preventing such a tragedy in the lives of other families, and to providing direct support for children who are negatively affected by bullying and cyberbullying.

Each year, 13 million children are bullied or cyberbullied in the United States, and the consequences can be devastating.  Proceeds from the event will help support:

  • Students who are suffering the traumatic consequences of bullying or cyberbullying, some of which include depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicidal ideations.

  • Parents who are seeking resources for their child who is being bullied or cyberbullied.

  • Educators & Professionals who play a key role in bullying situations and who should continue to be educated and brought up to speed on how to address situations.
