Job Coach
Role Mission:
To equip JLT students with employment skills, to teach them employment ethics through a biblical perspective, and to coach them through the employment process. Work with a group of students through the weekly curriculum, helping them to overcome specific roadblocks that can prevent them from becoming successful in the workplace. Help track students’ in-class activities and homework completion.
Role Responsibilities:
• Lead a table group of students in group activities and discussions during Monday night classes.
• Conduct mock interviews and help students create resumes
• Share knowledge of navigating the professional world and understanding of workplace ethics
• Push students to ask questions and fully participate in each class
• Review student homework assignments
• Lead large-class activities or teachings (optional)
Qualifications:
Knowledge about the employment process, the skills needed to maintain employment, the skills needed to advance in the workplace, and biblical principles that can improve to work ethics.
