Job & Leadership Mentor

Role Mission:
Help our students become men of character who are leaders in their workplaces, families 
and communities. Your main objective is to work with your student(s) to set and achieve personal goals (using the goal-setting worksheet). You will also serve as a support and encouragement as your student(s) works to successfully complete the program requirements.


Role Responsibilities:
• Meet with 
student(s) for 1 hour per week for 8 weeks
• Help student complete the Goal-Setting Worksheet and assist 
student(s) with achieving their 8-week goal(s) by providing knowledge and shared experience
• Become part of the student’s support team for 8-weeks
• Impart leadership thinking to the student(s)
• Document weekly meeting times via the Weekly Mentor Log
• If needed, refer 
student to our Resource Advocate for help accessing local resources
