The Victim Center - Volunteer Victim Advocates
The Victim Center, Springfield, Missouri, welcomes people to apply to be volunteer victim advocates. It is a great way to help victims of violent and sexual crimes in the community. This is a tremendous way to help those in the community who have been victimized and needing help. Applicants must be 21 years old, or close to it, have a car and a phone, attend required trainings and meetings, be able to pass a background check, be genuinely kind and willing and able to assist people going through very difficult situations. The next volunteer victim advocate training is scheduled for Saturday, May 19th, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Interviews are underway now.
