Volunteer Teacher for BWorks! Earn-a-Bike
Bicycle Works’ Earn-A-Bike, founded in 1988, offers a free program in which children attend a series of hands-on courses to learn problem-solving, bicycle safety and maintenance, and responsibility. At the end of this 6 week, session students will have earned a bicycle, safety light, lock, and helmet. Volunteer instructors lead children through lessons in fixing flat tires, nutrition, safety, and more. No experience is necessary, as volunteers are trained on site with the support of our veteran instructors. This session runs on Saturdays mornigs from 10-12pm.
