Opportunity Details

Senior volunteer serving children with special or exceptional needs

The Foster Grandparent Program is seeking outstanding volunteers to serve in Higginsville.  Foster Grandparents serve with children, helping them with schoolwork, social skills, and as a trusted adult role model.

If you have a desire to help children, are 55 years of age or older, in good health, live in or close to Higginsville, and have your own transportation, then you would be a great fit. Volunteers who qualify may receive a modest, tax-free stipend to help offset any personal expense of volunteering.

If you can devote your time to help children achieve greater successes, consider becoming a Foster Grandparent.
