Social Media Intern
Are you looking for real experience to help boost your resume and add recognizable pieces to your portfolio while having a fun time helping the advocacy work of VOYCE. The Social Media Internship at VOYCE (formerly the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program) is perfect for a self-starting student or recent graduate from a Communications, Journalism or Marketing program.
Tasks will include creating online content before, during and after special events,
The Social Media intern will assist with developing and designing online content to reach individuals and families who need long-term care options as well as those who need advocacy in long-term care settings as well as assist in the production of social media content including video, photographs, podcasts, etc. programs and workshops. Candidates should have solid writing skills and practical experience with online media applications and tools including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Photoshop.
Internship dates: (3 months)
Spring: mid-January - mid-April
Summer: mid-May - mid-August
Fall: mid-September - mid-December
Hours: 10-20 hours a week.
Compensation: Unpaid but may be arranged for college credit.educational
