All young professionals are invited to volunteer, eat barbecue, and have fun on September 21st at the annual GenNext BBQ.
Starting at 9:00 a.m. join other young professionals from the St. Louis area at one of the five nonprofit organizations helping people in our community live their best possible lives.
Directly following the volunteer projects (noon - 2 pm), we will head to the Old Carriage Shelter in beautiful Tower Grove Park for a BBQ featuring:
- Local STL style BBQ
- Free beer & soda
- Games
- Giveaways
The BBQ is an exclusive FREE event to those who volunteered at one of the five volunteer projects. By signing up for a volunteer project you are automatically registered for the BBQ.

Puppy Play Date Volunteer to help make the puppers and doggos at Duo more comfortable by making dog treats and helping with bathing and kennel enrichment. Sign Me Up!
Extra Credit Volunteer with LifeWiseSTL (formerly Kingdom House) and help them keep things spic and span for their after-school program - we'll do playground maintenance and landscaping if weather allows and clean and sanitize classrooms if it doesn't. Sign Me Up!
Winter Prep Volunteer with Lemay Child & Family Center by sprucing up the grounds by pulling weeds and raking leaves. Sign Me Up!
Urban Farming: Volunteer with the International Institute by helping Global Farms staff and volunteers with a variety of farm-related tasks. Sign Me Up!
Packing & Sorting Volunteer with Crisis Nursery and help sort and pack donations for the families they serve. Sign Me Up!
