National Day of Service and Remembrance CITIZENS UNITED IN SERVICE (9/11)

 
SUPPORT our first responders who serve and protect without hesitation:
Project #1:
Citizen volunteers will prepare 700 Neighborhood Watch brochures to be delivered to local homes.
HONOR our veterans and active military protecting our freedoms everyday:
Project #2: 
Create cards and letters of support to active military and their families.
Project #3:
Sort and box items that will be shipped to deployed military members. 
Note: A supply drive is being conducted Aug 6 - Sept 6. 
Project #4:
Clean the 5 monoliths, reflecting pool, the platoon of boots, surrounding greens space and roadside in front and around the memorial.
Project #5: 
Help eliminate litter and debris from the roadsides of Veterans Memorial Parkway.
Qualifications: ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED FOR THIS EVENT!
Due to the amount of planning, supplies, and staffing required, volunteers choose from the list of projects in advance. Registered volunteers will receive further details regarding check-in, assignment, etc.
